1. Parties and Acceptance

These Terms of Service ("Agreement") govern the relationship between all users ("User") accessing or using the Bitig platform ("Platform") and the Bitig administration. By accessing and using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.

2. Scope of Services

Bitig is an advanced digital archiving and backup tool designed to allow users to securely backup their public profiles, posts, media, and metadata across various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, Pinterest). The Platform strictly provides an automated backup infrastructure and does not claim ownership over any retrieved data.

3. User Obligations and Warranties

  • The User unconditionally warrants that they will only backup accounts that they own or have the explicit legal authority to backup.
  • All civil and criminal liabilities arising from the unauthorized backup, reproduction, or distribution of copyrighted, confidential, or proprietary materials belonging to third parties rest solely with the User.
  • The User agrees not to misuse the Platform for any illegal activities, harassment, or data scraping contrary to international laws.

4. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The Platform and its services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Bitig strictly disclaims any liability for service interruptions, data loss, or functional limitations caused by API changes, rate limits, or policies enforced by third-party external platforms. Bitig shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All software, design elements, algorithms, and source codes of the Platform are the exclusive property of Bitig. The intellectual property and copyrights of the media and content backed up by the User remain with their respective original owners. Bitig merely provides a private hosting environment for the User's personal access and does not license or distribute these contents.

6. Account Termination and Zero Data Retention Policy

Users maintain the right to terminate their subscriptions at their sole discretion at any time. Upon account deletion or subscription cancellation accompanied by a deletion request, Bitig enforces a strict Zero Data Retention Policy (Hard-Delete). All associated social media backups, personal information, and session data are permanently eradicated from our servers and cloud infrastructures. No data is retained in hidden logs or shared with third-party entities. Bitig reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate accounts that violate this Agreement without prior notice.
